I saw this press release last month and meant to get the information out to you before today, sorry! During the Olympics five cities across Canada will be hosting Olympic Celebrations. I assume they will be modeled after the Torch Celebrations that recently came through many communities with the Olympic Torch Relay. In the CTV press release it states there will be musical acts, interactive sports zones, cultural pavillions and large screens showcasing live coverage from Vancouver. Some of the musical acts listed on the website are Barenaked Ladies, Simple Plan and Sam Roberts Band, If you are not going to Vancouver it sounds like this will be a great alternative. I would definitely be there if I was going to be home.

Calgary and Winnipeg - February 13
Toronto - February 20
Newfoundland and Labrador - February 26
Quebec City - February 27
